Running Man
Once I had designed my own character designs I then started to experiment in photoshop using the video settings. I recorded the process of how I can make a moving drawing through photoshop. I started with a simple shape and then proceeded on to drawing a running person. However, just so I could get used to the idea of making something run and how the legs work to do that, I tried it out on a stick man. I did find doing this quite tricky though because I lost track of which leg was supposed to be what. I feel that next time I would have a more solid running man to work with and make it run a little more smoothly.

Bouncing Ball
I used Photoshop to try new techniques in animating. This technique is a very long and slow process where you have to re-draw the same thing over and over again but in a different position in a different frame. I was able to use a setting called onion skin where I was able to faintly see the last frame while on a new one so that I could see where I should start drawing. This allowed me to successfully move something for a few seconds that actually faintly looked like it was moving.
I started by using a ball because it was easier for me to experiment using this technique for the first time. Next time I try to use this technique I'll use something that actually relates more to my work rather than just using an object to try out a technique.
